It All Started From a Place of Frustration
Black River Falls Cleaning Services was founded by Stephanie Pipkin, who has always been stressed out by a messy home. It seemed there was never time in the day to keep a clean home, work full time, enjoy friends & family, and live a healthy, active lifestyle without feeling completely overwhelmed. She realized that others in our area must feel this, too.
“I saw that the people in my community are BUSY. They have kids, pets, taxing careers, and not enough time to do the hobbies they want to AND keep their homes clean and tidy. I’ve always loved helping people- six years as a waitress showed me how much I enjoy bringing a smile to my customer’s face.
Every time my home was sparkling clean, a sense of relief and calm washed over me, and I want to bring that feeling to every home we clean. Being able to add true value to my customers’ lives is the main driver behind me opening Black River Falls Cleaning Services.
Black River Falls Cleaning Services was born out of my desire to help this community get their valuable time back to spend with the people that matter most to them.” – Stephanie Pipkin, Owner
Black River Falls Cleaning Services Three Core Values:
- Family First
Our mission is to bring families closer together by performing the tasks that get in the way of this.
We don’t cut corners. We do the right thing, regardless if anyone will find out about it.
- A Grateful & Positive Attitude Each Day
We are blessed to be able to make your life better. We search out new ways to make you smile.
Our cleaners are chosen to be a part of Black River Falls Cleaning Services based on their personal values aligning with our company values. For a prospect to join our team, they need to be a little OCD about the details- we are NOT a “quick wipe down” kind of cleaning service. It may seem a little crazy that your first house cleaning takes 10, 12, or 15 hours to clean- we promise, you aren’t any dirtier than your neighbors! We work efficiently in a systematic manner so that no detail is missed. We know that you have so much going on in your life that scrubbing cabinet fronts, toothbrush holders, and light switches is the last thing on your to-do list. Allowing us to obsess over these details takes the invisible load off your shoulders!
To integrate our first value of “family first”, we also choose to employ folks who may not be able to work a traditional 9-5 work schedule. Just like many of our clients, our cleaners oftentimes are parents who want to be very present in their children’s lives. This includes scheduling cleanings to not interfere with dropping off and picking kids up from school as well as constant communication that their job with us is not negatively impacting their home life. We ALWAYS want to add value to our team’s life, just as much as we want to bring value to yours.
Being part of such a close-knit community, we seek out new ways to give back to the towns that support our small business. We are a proud member of the Black River Area Chamber of Commerce. We are also a certified partner of the nonprofit foundation Cleaning For A Reason. As a partner, we are notified when someone in our service area that is battling cancer joins the program. Black River Falls Cleaning Services provides free house cleaning for those affected because when you are battling cancer, cleaning your home is the last thing you have energy to do. It is our humble way of giving back to our community that have supported us throughout our journey and led us to where we are today! We will often donate cleanings to others in our area that we feel called to help- spontaneous giving makes OUR lives so much more fulfilling!
Another way our team gets to support our community is through employee-chosen donations to local non-profit organizations. Each month, one team member chooses a charity that speaks to them personally that the company donates a portion of our profits to. As Black River Falls Cleaning Services grows, we will only increase these donations- it gives our team members such pride to help make a difference! A few of the organizations that we have donated to include Bruce’s Legacy, Network For Youth, Jackson County Animal Shelter, Friends Sharing Food, and Jackson County Interfaith Volunteer Caregivers.
